MO Weather!?
One of the first things I remember hearing as a kid growing up from the adults around was that “if you don’t like the weather, stick around, it will change”. Well this seems to be holding true this past week because it got cold, as though we were going to skip Fall all together and run head long into Winter.
Like it or not I am not a big Winter fan, never have been, but I, like the rest of you, prepare by winterizing the house, bundling up and braving the sometimes bitter cold with the hopes of a short Winter season.
The biggest part of winterizing the house besides checking the firewood or sealing the windows or paying the gas bill, is of course having the carpets freshly cleaned from the elements we drag in on our shoes all summer and fall season.
